Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, veggies (of course not forgetting lashings of gravy and cranberry sauce), time off with family and friends, and a chance to reflect on the year so far – all things to be truly grateful for this thanksgiving. With Halloween just passed and Christmas on the horizon, Thanksgiving is a welcome chance to take stock of everything that we have and feel humbled.

Expressing our gratitude and thanks is such an important process, not only has it been scientifically proven to improve both physical and mental health but it helps us to reflect on what has gone so well for us and take steps to repeat positive behaviors moving forwards.

In the sales industry, feeling thankful can often get left by the wayside. Sales are so fast-paced that it can be difficult sometimes to slow down enough to feel thankful before we’re already working hard for our next client. Those of us in the industry know all too well that our work requires resilience and the ability to find the positives in tough situations. Many of us hear “no” more than we hear “yes”, but there are so many things to be grateful for.

In the spirit of thanksgiving, we wanted to take a moment to slow down and show gratitude for a few things ourselves. For the opportunities, we’ve been given in the US over the past 5 years, our wonderful clients and the incredible candidates that put their trust in us to find them their roles.

Thank you to our clients

We reflected on our journey so far in the US a couple of months ago and as part of this, we thought about how our clients are so integral to what we can do as a company. We love that at Pareto we are always learning. Not only are we part of a great team internally, but we are also thankful to work with clients who inspire us every day.

There is nothing that pays off quite the same as knowing your client is happy with the work you’ve done, so we wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to 1E for their lovely review last month. You can read the full case study here.

This is what 1E had to say about working with us.

Our Pareto account manager Haley is excellent, she listened, and they rallied the right group of talent. It was a lovely, easy process.

I am a massive believer in Pareto. They absolutely smashed it for us. They couldn’t be nicer, lovelier people and they are wholehearted professionals. You choose a company for ease of use, or and a brand reputation you can trust.  Pareto have both.

We are so grateful to be allowed to work with clients like 1E who put their trust in us to find them their ideal candidates.

Thank you to our staff

A few of our team wanted to take the chance to say what they are most thankful for at Pareto too.

Mackenzie Ehrling, Client Success Manager

I am thankful to have started my professional career at a company that breeds success and reward for your hard work. I have the privilege to work with amazing sales companies all around the U.S to help them to build out their SDR teams that will become future leaders of their organizations. It is thrilling to win fun incentives off the back of that! I am also thankful for the Starbucks around the corner for keeping me warm and energized for every work day!

Karielle Williams, Business Development Executive

I’m thankful for the constant support that I receive here at Pareto and how much this support contributes to my overall success. Also, I’m thankful to be selling a service that delivers results I believe in and how we continue to help our clients as well as the candidates we place and train.

Nicholas Seabrook, Business Development Executive

I'm thankful for the opportunity to work at a company where my efforts and hard work can positively affect the lives of others.

Katherine Muzzey - Graduate Manager

I'm thankful for the supportive and welcoming community that Pareto has offered in my first few months here. It has not only made the transition in NYC and working a full time job easier, but I also enjoy coming to work every day!

Haley Martin, Training Consultant

Pareto has developed me into a better young professional, and I am so thankful for the experiences I've had here. From travelling across the country for assessment days and training, to travelling to Europe for incentives trips, to growing closer to my team as they are a core support system for me, I couldn't be more grateful for the skills and life experience I have gained with Pareto!

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at Team Pareto!
